Specializing in niche reference materials, Birchwood Palace Industries publishes a variety of materials, ranging from directories to travel guides, cookbooks, instructional guides, and more.
Publishing is created by more than companies. For centuries, artists, designers, and other cultural producers have created books, magazines, records, video tapes, and other ephemera that explore new horizons of what publishing can be.
For the opening of Idea House 3, the Walker invited a group of artist publishers to include their works. This group hails from as far away as Qatar to as local as Minneapolis and rethinks the content, form, and publishing processes.
